4、"Not very large, but large enough for us. There's a splendid living room with a fireplace in it downstairs, and a dining room that looks out on the harbor, and a little room that will do for my office. It is about sixty years old--the oldest house in Four Winds. But it has been kept in pretty good repair, and was all done over about fifteen years ago--shingled, plastered and re-floored. It was well built to begin with. I understand that there was some romantic story connected with its building, but the man I rented it from didn't know it.

-
Namco Bandai took to the stage at the PlayStation Experience event on Saturday night to announce Ace Combat was making a return exclusively for the PS4 with additional features for the PlayStation VR.

The 23-year-old dogfighting series' last entry was PlayStation 3 exclusive Ace Combat Infinity in 2014, and a cockpit-based flight simulator seems like like a great fit for VR, but the most exciting part of the trailer perhaps is the part where someone decides to base-jump through a dogfight.

That's now how you dogfight, but base-jumping in VR would be possible the most exciting thing.

Watch the trailer. It feels like a mix between Point Break and Top Gun and reminds me we really don't do plane-fighty games anymore. I miss After Burner II.

-
As reported by TouchArcade earlier today, a potential release date for Pascal's Wager has emerged on the App Store. The souls-like ARPG looks set to arrive for iOS devices on 16th January and I'm personally very excited about that.

Pascal's Wager has been a known entity for a little while now with trailers dating back as far as June 2018 and it's fair to say a few people have gotten quite excited about it since – including me. Everything about the gameplay and aesthetic screams souls-like and as someone who has put more hours into those games than is reasonable, I'm always excited to try a new one.

It also promises a 20+ hour campaign on launch that'll focus as much on the narrative as the core gameplay itself. There are also a few plans for Pascal's Wager after it's been released too. PVP and PVE multiplayer modes will also be added to the game alongside story DLC.

-
Kairosoft's got a long lineage of games on mobile. They started on what we called features phones and expanded to smartphones when iOS came around.

Since then, a barrage of Kairosoft games has greeted the App Store. They all pretty much work on the same formula and expect you to run a place while you reach the first rank in that company's field.

They're all quite good but nothing can beat our first love, Game Dev Story. In it, you're in charge of a game development company and must create the best selling games ever.

It's that kind of game where you have to look at your watch twice to realize that two hours went by in a second.

Released all the way back in 2011, it never got much support but Kairosoft intends to change that with today's 2.0 update.

While the description log on the App Store just says "Minor Bug Fixes", the Japanese app mentioned how the game now supports widescreen and iPhone 6 screens and also the iPad's full screen is finally used.

To celebrate the game's update its price should be reduced to £0.79 later today.
Now the best time to get it then. Now get on Game Dev Story 2, Kairosoft. We've been waiting since 2011.
- In early June, when the sand hills were a great glory of pink wild roses, and the Glen was smothered in apple blossoms, Marilla arrived at the little house, accompanied by a black horsehair trunk, patterned with brass nails, which had reposed undisturbed in the Green Gables garret for half a century. Susan Baker, who, during her few weeks' sojourn in the little house, had come to worship "young Mrs. Doctor," as she called Anne, with blind fervor, looked rather jealously askance at Marilla at first. But as Marilla did not try to interfere in kitchen matters, and showed no desire to interrupt Susan's ministrations to young Mrs. Doctor, the good handmaiden became reconciled to her presence, and told her cronies at the Glen that Miss Cuthbert was a fine old lady and knew her place.!
TWO MEN were journeying together. One of them picked up an axe that lay upon the path, and said, "I have found an axe." "Nay, my friend," replied the other, "do not say 'I,' but 'We' have found an axe." They had not gone far before they saw the owner of the axe pursuing them, and he who had picked up the axe said, "We are undone." "Nay," replied the other, "keep to your first mode of speech, my friend; what you thought right then, think right now. Say 'I,' not 'We' are undone."
