Inside Pete is a real-time strategy game that would have been right at home among the gross-out toys and games of the 1990s.

I say that because it takes place inside the filthy guts of a lazy man called Pete. It's all kinds of icky.

You control nanobots that can clone white blood cells that Pete's clever uncle sent inside him rid him of the disgusting results of his lethargy.

This means you'll be spending your time creating white blood cells, putting condom shields on them, and then sending them into battle.

1、
Forget the name Zero Escape 3. That's no longer what the third game in Spike Chunsoft's Zero Escape series is called.

Publisher Aksys Games announced that it will now be called Zero Time Dilemma when it heads west.

Oh, and that's another thing, it's due to come out for 3DS and PS Vita in the summer of 2016. Previously we were only told that it would be out in 2016.

The key art for the game has also been official released after it was shown off at the announcement event earlier this year.

Have a look below:

What we know about Zero Time Dilemma is that it'll take place on a facility on Mars. This facility is used to test how people react to living on the red planet.

It's expected to have returning characters, fully voiced cinematics, and multiple endings.

Oh, there's also this new teasing description to read:

"Choice is your only method of salvation and your only means of escape. How much of your humanity will you sacrifice to earn your freedom?

"As a new age of ruin looms large on the horizon, you must make impossible decisions and weather unimaginable consequences as you straddle the line between absolution and damnation."

If you haven't a clue what the Zero Escape series is all about then you'll want to read up on 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors as well as its sequel Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward.

3、
Valiant Hearts, Ubisoft's strange and elegiac ode to The Great War, is currently on sale for iPhone and iPad.

The game sees you playing as a handful of characters caught up in the events of the first world war. There's very little combat involved – instead, you spend most of the story scrambling around on the periphery of the conflict, solving puzzles and trying to stay out of trouble.

Dotted throughout the game are educational titbits about the first world war, and the whole thing is presented in a painterly, melancholic style, in keeping with the sombre centenary celebrations that have taken place throughout 2014.

In other words, it's a total downer, and if all you want to do is shoot historical Germans you'll be sorely disappointed.

If, however, you enjoy serious and imaginative games that deal sensitively with extremely complex material, you should take this opportunity to grab Valiant Hearts: The Great War at the bargain price of £1.49 / $1.99.

That will only buy you the first episode, however. The others will still set you back £2.49 / $3.99 each.
